Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could also be stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of her best-known songs. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, then becoming enthralled by the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. The Aksnes family encouraged her to not to pursue music solely for pleasure or to aid in development but instead, she should take it seriously. The Aksnes family inspired her to write. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. After her mother said that the songs she wrote might not make her famous rather to help people to see their own value and impact in this world, she began singing them in public. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly to help people realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. The family did not be aware of this until she reached the age of fourteen. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. Aurora says she loves writing songs. For her, music is the most effective method to experience anything.
