Alaina was born on November 8, 1994 to Kristy as well as J. J. Suddeth of Rossville, Georgia. The father of Alaina is a Chattanooga tech. She began singing when she was three. After a vacation lasting a whole year and a year-long break from school, she joined the kids choir. She performed in churches, restaurants, at events for families, and anywhere within 30 miles from her home. Alaina won the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest aged 8. Following that year, Alaina was invited to perform at the Riverbend Festival's Kids talent stage. This festival permitted the contest on its main stage in the age of 12 because she played there for the past few years. Ten years ago, at the age of ten she traveled from Orlando, Florida for the American Model and Talent Competition. The event was won by Alaina, who came out ahead of 1,500 competitors. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Children's Choir. Alaina was twelve at the time she took her first and many subsequent trips to Nashville. She performed in Tootsie's, a local bar that was located on Broadway. Alaina was the winner of the WinniSTAR competition for young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah. She also composed songs such as Leaving and set me free. Alaina her cousin, Holly Witherow's who suffers from a tumorous brain tumor, encouraged her to begin singing.
