Alaina was a singer with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association's youth group. Alaina first visited Nashville when she was 12 years old. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar and many other bars along Broadway. Alaina is the 2009 winner from Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer. This led her to sing. Alaina had previously worked at CiC's Pizza. She was a student at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, in which she played cheerleading.
